ArconicDirect Troubleshooting Login and Password Reset Issues

Issue Possible Solutions
I am an ArconicDirect user who had access to the previous version of ArconicDirect prior to October 19, 2023 and I cannot log in.
  • Your previous ArconicDirect password no longer works in the new version of ArconicDirect. From the Login screen, you must click the “Forgot Password” hyperlink and enter the email address for your previous account. An email will be sent to you shortly with instructions for resetting your password.
  • This form requires you to validate with ReCaptcha. If you do not see the ReCaptcha check box, either give it some time to allow it to load or contact your IT Department to see if ReCaptcha is restricted on your network.
I have attempted to reset my password using the “Forgot Password” hyperlink but have not received the email with instructions to reset it.
  • Take steps on your email client or with your IT department to allow emails from no-reply@arconic.com.
  • The email was categorized as Junk or Spam by your email client or IT policies. Contact your local IT department to allow emails from no-reply@arconic.com.
  • There may have been a temporary network hiccup that prevented the request from being submitted or in sending the email to you. Attempt to reset your password again by clicking the “Forgot Password” hyperlink from the Login screen.
  • The email address you entered is not a valid ArconicDirect account. Contact your current help chain to validate that your account exists.
When logging in, I receive an error message that states “Authentication Failed”.
  • You entered an incorrect password. Make sure you enter the correct password or use the “Forgot Password” hyperlink on the Login screen to reset your password.
  • Your account is locked. You had too many consecutive failed logins. Contact your help chain to check on the status of your account and have it unlocked, if required.
  • You entered an email address this is not a valid account.
I received an email to reset my password but I am not able to reset it.
  • Your password does not meet the minimum security requirements. See the “Minimum Password Requirements” section below for guidance.
  • When asked to input your password twice while setting it, the values do not match.
I have successfully logged in but I do not have access to the modules I was expecting.
  • Look in the top navigation menu. The modules you have access to should appear under one of the following menus:
    • Purchasing Center
    • Supplier Center
    • Tracking Center
If you do not see the correct module within one of these menus, contact your help chain to validate your access.

 

Minimum Password Requirements

Requirement Value Notes
Minimum Value 14 Your password must contain a minimum of 14 characters
Upper Case / Lower Case 1 or more characters You must have at least one upper case and one lower case letter
Special Characters 1 Your password must contain at least one of these characters (E.g., ~, !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *)
Numbers 1 Your password must contain at least one number
Number of consecutive failed logins which will lock your account 5 If you attempt 5 consecutive failed logins, your account will be locked and you will need to contact your help chain to have the account unlocked.
Password History 6 ArconicDirect remembers up to the last 6 passwords. 
Those passwords cannot be reused.
